I always wonder about folks who marry foreign spouses. At most msian ladies which are still ok.

Most times foreign spouses marry you because they want to get out of poverty from their home town. Anybody that can provide money is already considered a good catch.

My view is all this is quite natural

Due to cultural barrier deep connection is missing.
So woman likely to be with Singapore man for economic reasons. Also she may be dependent on man to support family back home.

Singapore man often go for foreign women because of social awkwardness or low economic status ,and often lack character for good relations.

Such dynamics often result in unhappy outcomes when the man hits a rough patch when it comes to money.

Most important thing after marrying foreign spouse is make sure got money...
Because once no money there js no reason for the woman to stay. She need find a job to give money to parents back home or another man with money so such relations break down fast.
