Texas governor signs bill banning Chinese citizens from buying property in state

I am surprised foreigners can actually buy land in the US.

Many countries have restrictions on amount of land foreigners can buy in their country. I am sure foreigners cannot buy land in China or Vietnam they can only lease land for short periods for factories etc
