The US doesn't give a fug about its people. First the California forest fires and now this Texas flood - their rescue efforts are pathetic.

after the flood., time for them to look at civil engineering work to reduce chance of flood.
insurance company can help chip in a bit as the claim will be smaller if no major flood.
