WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – The President of the United States (US), Donald Trump , has again pressured South Korea to pay more for the presence of US military troops in its territory. "This is very unfair.
We supply the military to many very successful countries," Trump told reporters at a cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday (July 8, 2025). "South Korea makes a lot of money. They're great, they're really great, but they should be paying for their own military," he added.
