Monisha Catherine Iswaran stripped of Singapore citizenship under Article 135(1)(b) 

Singapore has revoked the citizenship of Monisha Catherine Iswaran, effective 19 August 2025. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority has not confirmed her identity, though the name closely matches that of former minister S. Iswaran’s daughter.

Iswaran went to Australia to help his daughter settle down in University has a different agenda. With her likely given Australian Citizenship, to hell with Singapore Citizenship!

So she has dual citizenship.

Iswaran has 2 sons and a daughter - The disgraced ex-minister was in AU to help one of his sons "to settle" at Monash university in Melbourne while under CPIB investigation.
BTW, his wife Kay Mary Taylor an Aussie national, whom he got to know while attending University of Adelaide...
His daughter, presumable "Monisha Catherine Iswaran" which ICA has cancelled her SC,  is currently living and working in Melbourne.
And since SG does not allow dual citizenship,we can safely say both his wife and daughter are not SC.

Iswaran's wife was one of the witness during her husband trial at high court on corruption charges.

SG laws are pretty water tight...It is a matter of enforcement. 

I am sure ICA can easily dig up more dirt of those SGreans who (secretly) holds dual citizenship, which is illegal under SG Constitution. 

As in SAF famous Rule#11 aka SAF Core Value - You may do anything as long as you do NOT get caught.

You think she care? Even since her hubby Iswaran case. Than Iswaran request for delay of his trial as he claim need to settle his kid study in Aust. Obviously indirectly telling you , Once Iswaran serve finish. His whole family Surely move to Aust start a new life there and happy retire there.

Wonder how many of such cases out there. Remember the couple that died in the earthquake or some natural disasters in TW? They too were reported to be sinkie but somehow was mentioned about their Oz thing too.

When she reaches 21st birthday, she will receive a letter from SG Govt giving her a choice to renounce SG citizenship.

But why reported openly?

Less a family of 3 foreigners

Iswaran is the unlucky one. The F1 Big Boss Ecclestone was under British Investigation then.

It is those dual citizenships that allow people to move from one country to another. You see the US, UK and also the one in the Middle East.
