FACT CHECKED
I am IMPRESSED ! Over 80% of the 0.75km long bridge is still standing after part of it was knocked down by a massive landslide. Goes to show the incredibly tough structure being engineered in the most earthquake-prone region of China.
A huge landslide destroyed one end of the bridge approach and caused approximately 130 m of the bridge to collapse. Police in the city of Maerkang 马尔康 in Sichuan had closed the 758m-long Hongqi bridge to all traffic on 10 Nov afternoon, after cracks appeared on nearby slopes and roads, and shifts were seen in the terrain of a mountain. Less than 24 hours later the landslide occurred. No casualties were reported as the bridge was already shut down.
The mountainous Sichuan Province is one of the most seismically active region of China.

Such attitude is like Indian thinking...
All bridges are critical infrastructure and any failure can often be fatal.
Lucky China life is worth nothing really...

Today's Chinese are very different from those 30-40 years ago in the early years of opening up.
The problem in your argument is this incident has noting to do with "mistake" but rather more of natural cause.
Sharexchange must celebrate this collapse at MBS to spur spending in this silent recession 🥳🥂
Can’t withstand weight n length of bridge
They'd built the world's longest and tallest bridges while you're hiding at home doing nothing
