I think fd cannot be terminated online, it must be done physically.......

That is a safety feature for CPF money to be transferred, must do it manually....

I remember there was a case in the news where the FD depositor found his deposit gone when he went to the bank to renew his deposit. Forgot what happen to him......

May be a joint account.
