Jail for worker who hit dorm mate with stone pestle for insulting dead mother

For his offence, Lal Chan, 34, was jailed for two months on Jan 11 after he pleaded guilty to voluntarily causing hurt to Mr Ahmed Rabbi, 25.

Reminds me of a time when two of my erstwhile colleagues fought.  One was westernized and flippantly called the other, a Chinese helicopter, “dog” or something to that extent.  

It wasn’t a heartfelt remark but the other fella really took umbrage.  This person promptly threw a bowl of rice at the former. Then next the plates of succulent duck and roast pork meat.  Sigh…

It was so embarrassing as it took place at a public hawker centre and would have lowered our image of our clients.  All highly trained and competent axxxxxxx (profession)

I think many members in sgtalk will be whacked on the heads by stone pestle if this guy is here...
