Any possibility for Singapore voters to create a two parties govt in future?.

If it's not possible, why not?

If it's possible, how long will it take?

It will take at least a decade to see a two-party govt. here....Even with a two-party govt. the PAP will be the dominant ruling party....

you need balls and brains for that to happen...............both in critical short supply here lah............ Rotfl
Actually you can see SG as 1 party politics, it is pro PAP or anti PAP..

Those who are anti PAP will just vote for whoever is contesting in their ward. If our election rules allow creatures to run as candidates, I am sure a GRC team comprises of wild boar, wild monkey, stray dog, cat and rodent will be able to get quite a number of votes.

Best thing is this team don't need $16k*5 salary. $200 per month is more than enough to feed them.
Of course it is possible. Nobody knows how long it will take but definitely possible, even likely.

As the PG and MG pass on, the new, younger voters will be in charge. Even if there are new citizens, they will demand more & more.

Likely the pap will break up within. The breakaway one will be the new major oppie. May take another 20, 30 years, who knows?
Singapore voters can support more diverse voices and more depth in the various topics.

But at the end, PAP will just reject the "rehearse scripts" with their usual wayang only.

Remember the CECA debate where Ong YK . . . Tan SL did not answer the questions but merely went on about with Bollywood Dance?
