The US airports on the west coast within the range even shut down for a while following the news that NK successfully tested its 2nd Hypersonic missile.

Hypersonic missiles make the US defence system useless as it is impossible to intercept hypersonic missiles, which are not only super fast but also be able to change routes on their own to avoid radars and interception of defence missiles.
