why my onion no life limpy

need sunlight and good drainage. if the mediums too wet, the bulbs and roots no oxygen and will rot.

onions, garlic and shallots can grow in bottle to solve this problem:

you mean no need soil

the bottle is filled with soil or potting mix. the holes allow excessive water to drain out and air to go in.

for your pot, use a big stick to poke many holes in the soil. give them more sunlight
