These countries started opening up when their vaccination levels reached only a measly 50-60%. Not enough. They need to hit >70-80%

No use one, many recently infected people are fully vaccinated...the vaccines can only fight original viruses and some variants, but their effectiveness drops below 50% for Delta and Delta variants.  Israel is the world leader in vaccination, it bought Pfizer vaccines many months before the US and EU paying double prices, it is the first country that got high percentage of population vaccinated, all the countries including Spore are watching it as the role model, now daily cases jumped from 20-30 to 750-1000 when Delta variant hit the country, the same thing also happen to the US as the daily cases are doubled up to 28k. The same will happen here as we use the same types of vaccines and follow the same path. Like that how? No hope to end Covid pandemic soon, likely another 2-3 more years.
