I remember crime watch one man was conned...a hundred K. He went to Nigeria to try to recover his money and never came back.
I think for some voluntary contribution to CPF is good for them.....

you may know u need to return cpf used plus accrued interest when u sell yr pty
but if you havent sold yr house and hv extra cash
you can use this VHR route. voluntary housing refund
it goes straight to ordinary account to earn the interest
plus u immediately stop the accrued interest fr accumlating any further
for the amt u put in.
and if you are 55> u can withdraw to use like a bank

It's good but how sure are you that rules won't be change by the time you reached 55? By right, a good scheme will lock the t&c in at the point you start as that give you visibility to yr planning..
