Was he referring to infection rate which should be in percentage? May be he converted the raw data into percentage. For example:

20 to 39 age group got a total 1 million and 4546 cases = 0.45%
0 to 11 age group got a total 200,000 and 1516 cases  = 0.76%

That oyk is getting from bad to worse. Trying to imply that he has given up hope in tackling covid and simply throw in the towel.

Yes, he is referring to infection rate. Singapore not many children mah. Adults more due to foreigners.

How can he throw in the towel, when lives are involved. As a million+ minister he should fight on and gain citizens confidence in him.........

What kind of comparison is this?
20-39 group size 20 years
0-11   group size 11 years

The chart shows what the age group is and what are the infections cases.  It is a good indication of what is happening in the Covid-19 incidents....no need to put into percentages................

Can be considered as creative grouping of raw data to give a desired result.... Big Grin

Coronavirus Hong Kong: new cases expected to top 1,100 amid exponential spike

Yes indeed...?🤔🤔🤔

Yah, based on this, can see that the infection rate for 0-11 is most probably higher as the age range is bigger for 20-39.

China and Hong Kong are in lockdown, people don't take vaccines, and cannot open up.

Singapore on the other hand, is quite open already. We have high infection but protected by high vaccine rates so there are not much death cases.
Just to confirm. It is Ong Ye Kung?

So we have another Flubber Parade, not just Chan Chun Sing.
