Yes but not to invests in locals. It’s to invest in FTs , CECAs and locals will suffer more especially with the increase in GST. Costs of living will affect everyone and everything.

Can govt ring fence the gst revenue to be only used towards:
1. Welfare for lower and middle class family
2. Schooling and tuition fee for Singaporeans only

If so, then what's the needed amount and then reverse compute the desired gst rate.

After the numerous from CECA, there are FTs from China, Myanmar, Philippines and EU countries....They will flood the job market leaving only bones for locals....
