What would be the result if there is a bye-election in Sengkang or Aljunied
or a General Election, if held NOW?
I had a conversation with a young (29), well educated professional last night. This lad had shown little or no interest in politics but he has become incensed with the COP saga. He said that he will never vote for the PAP again.
Looks to me that the COP saga has enraged a whole lot of younger votes, who largely voted PAP in 2015 in sympathy of LKY's death and continued in 2020.
What are sentiments now?
