In other countries all your medical history, illnesses, medical appointments, test results, surgeries and fees are recorded in database so that when you visit doctor in any clinics or hospital, doctor can retrieve and review. However this is not the case in Spore yet, only your medical records with polyclinic and garment hospitals can be retrieved, private hoisptals and clinics are not integrated, which makes life difficult….the doctor will ask you do another X ray even though you have done it a month ago at a private clinic.

Don't accept the X-ray from private hospitals and clinics?
Giving too Low subsidy for the upgrade of computer system and software used. Private clinic got to fork out their own $$$ to maintain and link with the system. Not all private clinics are listed companies.

More stuffs mean more cost $$$
PAP spent millions on SAP ( 5 areas) but even medical records are still printed out in hard copies when other countries NEVER have any need for FTs, has gone paperless.

And yes, what you pointed out is very true. Think about it now, even our healthcare subsidy cannot be used in private clinics. Only Polyclinics have. Maybe because the stupid fcking system is still not integrated, lah.
