SgFett, You just keep making unfair attack on Russia. Russia converted Soviet Union from communism into a democratic election system 30 years ago hoping to run the same system as western countries by the then Yeltsin. But NATO supposed to be an alliance against Soviet Union didn't stop harassing the converted Russia. It continued to move eastward to take in Poland Lithuania etc and put their missiles nearer and nearer to Russia. The latest is to take Ukraine into NATO and place missiles right at Russia's doorstep. Putin is only asking US and NATO to stop such action.    

I ask you "Is it a reasonable request?"

I don't trust a comedian.

Soviet Union after going thru Gorbachev and Yeltsin converted Soviet Union political system from communism to an elected Parliamentary system when the Chairman was converted into President. Yeltsin was then converted to President Yeltsin and an elected parliament. All the former member countries like Poland, Lithuania, White Russia （Belarus）, Rumania, Bulgaria, etc all declared independence from Soviet Union to follow with elected parliament. NATO slowly took in eastern European countries except Russia. Even though Russia also applied to join NATO, it was rejected.      
Only then Yeltsin realised he was cheated and US and NATO were up to kill Russia. But the then Russia was weak and couldn't do anything until finally Putin came into power.  

Putin determined to bring back the former glory of Soviet Union. Russia is still not strong enough to face US and NATO. So when Trump showed his ugly face to sanction China, it is the best time for Russia to find and unite with a friend to support Putin economically to stop the aggression from US and NATO. Putin is now not worry of US kicking Russia out of the US$ system. Putin only wants NATO to stop bringing the missiles gradually eastwards. The last being Ukraine right at Russia's door step. This is now the situation. With China backing, Russia can now have the economic power to fight back without fear for US severe sanction to be taken.

You trust Biden? 

Like you, Ukraine also trust US Biden until now Ukraine find it is alone facing Russia with no US or NATO on it's left nor right. Yes, Biden told Ukraine he is behind him. Yes really behind him with US army stationed in Poland.       

You can continue to trust Biden.

It does not matter.  He was not a liar like (WP), a rapist or a petty thief.  He is still Ukraine's President.

Russia entered Ukraine's territory and that is wrong on any which level you want to see it.

Some ignorant jokers laugh when I said Russia changed to democratic system and also it indicated willingness to join NATO without success.
