Since the dawn of time and civilisation, countries, kingdoms, empires, dynasties, fieldoms, nations, they come and go, expand and cease to exist, merge and divided and no one talk about sovereignty unless you can guard it against a conqueror
Where got such thing as automatic sovereignty by law? And laws can be changed anyway by the winner, as has been the case since time immemorial
