pdvl platform take advantage of drivers and passengers la.
make a lot of cash flow to drivers. drivers who do not know the different between profit and cash flow think they make a lot.
then time to pay petrol, maintenace, rental then realised all is but a dream.
customers also, think discount is free and good. then come one day need a ride but then given a very high rate then realised kena fool.
platform does not grow money and it compete with taxi by price. taxi fare is about right giving taxi driver an income of about 4k without cpf, sick leave or annual leave.  so pdvl driver get even lesser only about 2-3k.  better off doing full time driving. pay 2.5k-3k with cpf , and all benefits.

government got to stop all these nonsense. another platform for delivery comming up call amxxx flex.  also offer only $21 d=for multiple delivery.
they try to cheat the cpf system and mom rule on workers benefits.  yet againg hope authority are sharp enough to catch them that an apps does not make a worker become a business man. they are still workers as they sell time in exchange for money. same same as any worker.
Do they care as long as kpi is met?

BS? depend individual? see my army friend work full time as PHV like very happy , the earnings must be quite good. Even Mr Loo mention now PHV earn More than stock broker.
This is how PAP proves to us

FTs create good jobs for citizens

Some young may like the flexibility of working hrs

But not for the middle-age, old, educated, women . . .
Now is interesting if you compare today Comfort G vs Grab ,

Comfort G report profits.

Recently on tv taxi driver claim hard to get passengers , some claim due to PHV competition

whereas on the other hand , people say Grab food delivery expensive, taking PHV is not cheap either compare with taxi.

Mind you PHV, haven't announce their pricing , surely increase the fare as all taxis already increase which start this month.

PHV will not? Don't forget petrol price increase.
