It will disqualify some of the very people that the scheme is intended to support. Like the elderly, disabilities, low educated or health issues workers working part time.
I really don't know understand why the change?
Maybe Government intention is pushing these group to upskill to earn higher salary. But said is easier than done for these groups. Government is taking away their basic income supplement while inflation is at all times high with impending Gst.
Hope the change can be reversed
Budget discussion is overwhelmed by the Russia Ukraine war . The Government may not get the message if no one voicing for the under privileges
Know of few self-employed who stay in 5-room hdb with plenty of money in the bank account and receiving workfare. Government should not take our money and give it to these people.
