More people will cut down on wheat-based food and turn to rice-based food. And the demand will push up prices.

if prices continue to become wider, it is possible to grind rice into rice flour and mix with flour to reduce cost.

We always eat rice. Just need to eat rice for all 3 meals now.

Noodle is also made of wheat, hope noodle price won’t go up here.

Ukraine exports 20% of global wheat and Russia exports another 20% so total 40%, looks like Boris Johnson and Joe Biden have to eat rice for the next few months.

Actually Australia also produces wheat but due to shortage of containers and delay of shipping supplies,  very hard to take advantage of the situation to export more to the world. heard from Aussie news.

If all angmos start eating rice then we, rice eaters, will be in trouble. They will caused a rice shortage and sharp surge in price.......
