Once littlle putin run out of military leaders, the rest of the Russian army will just abandon their military armor vehicles and walk back to Russia...  Thinking Laughing
Russian generals fight in the frontlines, following the Soviet tradition. Likewise the armed forces of countries that were trained by the Soviets, for example Iran. General Soleimani was spotted many times in the trenches of the Syrian frontlines.

In the west, a general killed in action is a big deal because its rare for generals fighting from 3000miles away in a command centre to get killed. In Russia it is quite the norm and they have a system to quickly replace from the ranks.
Err.. how many captains are there in Russia army??
