Russian forces continued their bombardment of Ukrainian cities early Tuesday ahead of another planned round of diplomatic talks between the two sides.

Russians dare not enter the city as Ukrainian force can beat them in street fight, which will cause high casualties on both sides and last for months.
I think Ukraine should counter attack with similar pounding into Russian cities.
Being sitting ducks for too long sure caved in one day just like in football matches. Lol.

They just have to keep on pounding the cities flat then moved in. Aerial supremacy will have an upper hand in the war.

They are destroying the city gradually. Eventually, he will get frustrated and command that the city to be taken at all cost. To lose the war he started would be a disgrace to a superpower.
We are used to seeing how the West carpet bomb cities for quick victory regardless of the loss to lives & property.
Russians are not doing this. They are bidding their time. Reconnaissance, persuade enemy to lay down arms, negotiate with potential collaborators.
