Heard robberies get worse, Spore cars are targeted, maybe they have to call Grab or cab to commute, and live in fear at night.

One of my relatives has a condo in Msia, they haven’t visited Msia for the past 2 years, and they still dare it to go back.

Just returned from a business trip in KL.

Everything business as usual except for airport. Relatively quiet still.

Full flights.

On holiday or business trip is different from living there in JB or other cities, you can’t drive your Spore car out and park at mall or outside coffeeshop, later get stolen. When you are away, someone may break into your landed property take all the valuable items like 55 inch Smart TV, fridge, washing machine, aircon compressor,  sofa, furniture, range hood, stove and cash.

I Only know Singaporean enjoy living in Thailand ,

stay in landed house, change car easily , daily enjoy street foods

yet overall living expenses still cheaper than in SG and even MY.

Unfortunately Thailand is no longer cheap like last time, my recent trip to Bangkok in 2019, I found it is as expensive as in Spore, prices all went up. However it is definitely safer than living in JB.

Thailand got new tax is on travellers means you need to pay additional more but still people still love go Thailand.
Especially the western folks all along enjoy travel to thailand.

In fact if base one a Foreigner travel plan if they want to explore come Asia ,

if happen come SG , they just spend a few days than move up to MY than Vietnam or Thailand depend than up to China or Taiwan , South korea or Japan

One thing for sure SG tourist attraction is not getting attracting anymore also here as we all everything expensive.
This is why no matter what people still go Thailand even they increase tax on traveller , etc still cheaper than spend in SG.

Which world are you living in? I drive my X6 in pre-covid and do everything like you said once a month over the last 5 years.
