simple logic, businessman will never absorb the increase in business cost, their customers will ultimately

They doubled the fuel tax not long ago, right?

But but but what about business that need transport running on fuel? Same logic applies?

The logic is not wrong but the amount is way too small. Rise in fuel costs will be passed on to consumers. $100 enough?

CDC vouchers also the cause of higher price in the hawker centres. Many hawkers are raising price to suck up the vouchers.

LW is silly to think that fuel is a luxury goods. Seems like he don't know that higher fuel price lead to higher business cost that must be pass on to consumers. Govt of many countries are cutting fuel tax because they know fuel is not progressive tax. But Sg govt is ignorant.

it is absolutely waste ytax payer money to feed these redundant mayors,not even worth to pay them S$0.1

as i hv said $100 is NEVER ENOUGH TO OFFSET THE INCREASES
GIVE US $500,IT  IS JUST BARELY ENOUGH ,JUST THE STARTING LEVEL
WHEN OIL GOES TO $150 WILL WE GET ANOTHER $800???
