At personal level all of us can only try to make best out of the situation we have.
Change is unlikely but we can still try.
Migration is out of the question. Most will end up worse off and have to re-learn everything. Only very rich can migrate more easily.

You forget about properties...
The way I see it, the properties are meant or meant to attract foreigners to invest in Singapore, or to have a stake in Singapore. Through properties ownership PAPpies agenda has always been to nail these foreigners to eventually come and settle permanently here. So they buy, and drive up the prices. And poor Singaporeans are priced out or are forced to pay for higher and higher prices. In turn the HDB will have reasons to sell at higher prices. The younger children, yearning to own properties will be forced to take higher loans, and become debt owners through their life time.
This PAPpy Singapore has become a country for the rich foreigners and FTs...
