It looks like many facets of Mao era will come back to China
1. One man rule...with personality cult and Xi JP thought enshired in constitution yo be dominant.
2. Surveillance and propaganda state where strong central control over people.
3. Anti West stance.
4. Self reliance and substitution economy. It will put alot of allocation towards being independent of other countries. This is economically not a good ideas as you don't play on your comparative advantage but is politically appealing.
5. The authoritarian collective...Putin Xi Kim, Iran, Venezuela. To stop tide of democracy.
6. Curbing private enterprise. Recent yrs It is more like demonising private enterprise be it Alibaba, Meituan or property developers.
7. Constant glorification. Thiis take some explanation. The thinking is same as in Soviet era where they have to constantly prove they are better. This means they go for broke to host Olympics to keep showcasing and horrifying their system at all levels. Yes all countries loves some glory but it is the degree and amount allocated for these.
8. Dial back on liberties. This one no need to explain too much just look at what happened to HK.
Xi has consolidated power and cannot be challenged on the direction he takes the country so it will go along this path for long time.
I did not say any of the above is good or bad just that they are taking this these directions....
Feel free to criticise if I got anything wrong.
Why must u so plp the white and suck white's cock?

Are you volunteering yourself to be Xi personal dressing consultant, for free?

Absolute power in the right hand is good. Look at China achievements in just 40yrs.. from a backward poverty stricken country to a economic and technology superpower which even undisputed no. 1 feel threatened.
Xi jinpin lifted more than 100m out of poverty and risk his life going after corruptions at all levels. He takes care of all his people... from Huawei kidnapped CFO to migrant workers stuck in dorms without proper meals and medical care. He even called the leader of the country when the news broke to ask 你好吗?

美國🇺🇸是中國:大恩人大救星,至少七次挽救中國,現在的反美教育都是昧著良心,為了既得利益集團私利
as above, if not US 2 atomic bombs drop in japan, mao likely died before yr 1949 with war with japan.
Xi, enjoy the fruits from US technology transfer.

I am not going to critise your view...Just here to point out "Mao" suit originate from the founding years of modern China since 1912 after the fall of Qing gov. And the suit was also worn when Chinese reformists used Singapore as a base.
In China they call the suit "中山装"

If you look at his long complain list about China today, you can see how little he understand History and the legacy behind that "Mao" suit...which was also worn by both leaders of KMT and CPC. Today, this suit has become a representative of Chinese nationalism.

Yes that what I said many facet of Mao era is coming back.
And it is true.
Oriental Asia has always been bullied by the Occidental West for centuries.
Unequal and skewed Treaties and treatment of Asians as second rate homo sapiens are palpable realities.
The AMDK mentality has to stop immediately as we are in a new millennium!!!
There is nothing wrong with Mao nor what he wore.
After 200 years under Qing dynasty, got wacked and intruded, invaded by western countries and Japan and paid them with tons of gold and silver for their intrusion, enough is the bully by white imperialist. It was Mao in 1952 wacked back at America to show them the true yellow color.
It is very good work by Mao, whether you want to humiliate him as socialist or communist, it doesn't matter. It is badly needed to uphold the yellow dignity.
Well-done Mao.

Hahaha cheo kau peng anti china’s ahkou crocodile tears on China woman what an irony LOL LOL

Why you say is unlikely to be true.
There is not shred of proof of this.

Err...you contradicted yourself - You started this Thread about "Mao era" based on your perception of how one dress and linking it to your complain list against China today as being "anti West" or being "less liberal".
I corrected you that "Mao" dressing has its origin from Sun Yat-sen time after the fall of Qing....which ironically symbollised the liberateion from feudalism and foreigner repression against the Chinese...
Why not just admit the TRUE problem u see in China - They are more powerful and influential today and you reject that.

Wrong....I said his actions and thinking is reflective on Mao era....not just his dressing is similar to Mao so is his thinking.
While this suit is worn by others it js called a Mao suit because it is popularise by Mao.
I did not say there are no others wearing it ...I also did not say Mao is only person who wears it.

Hang on - Which part of my previous comment hinted that you say "Mao is only person who wears it "?
You started this Thread dwelling about the suit and associating it with "anti-Western". Now you selectively screen grab a quote without without telling us the Source. Anyway, I found out your source. I am just curious why you don't wanna simply share that link to allow readers have a complete picture of the origin of "Mao" suit....
