Regional TV channel CNA has apologised for showing a SEA Games medal tally table with the wrong flags of participating nations.
While CNA, a unit of the Games official broadcaster Mediacorp, did not elaborate, a viral photo has been circulating that shows nine flags of the 11 SEA Games nations were mismatched. For example, the flag of Malaysia is shown next to “Singapore”, the flag of Singapore is shown next to “Thailand”, and the flag of hosts Vietnam is shown next to “Malaysia”.
