Russia’s army has ‘resourcing’ and
Russia has a “significant resourcing problem” in Ukraine. In its latest intelligence briefing, the ministry said that despite Russian troops having circled the port city of Mariupol. Ukraine’s stiff resistance delayed them gaining full control of the city.
Putin, Russia “made significant use of auxiliary personnel” to overcome the resistance, included the deployment of Chechen forces. While Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov maintains oversight over deployment, his cousin acts as field commander of the forces in Mariupo, it added.
