China's zero covid policy and PRIDE in refusing to admit that it is a failed policy will cost its economy.

Trying to get rid of all the viruses is an exercise in futlity if the rest of the world decided to live with the virus.  It will turn China into a hermit kingdom, as in the days of Mao.

What good will it do for China?  It is already losing billions of tourist dollars...huge losses of F&B revenue, more losses of ticket sales to sights, and of course a huge chunk of hotel rooms revenue.  These drove the Chinese economy creating jobs and providing the much needed funds to develop the country.

If the CCP insist on continuing with the zero covid policy, it will be like a gigantic gorilla stomping about or rolling on the soil, trying to get rid of every lice on its body.  It will be as successful as man's efforts to get rid of cockroaches, mosquitoes, houseflies and rats for millennia.
