I see many shampoo and shower gel with Thai words printed on them at these shops

I have seen those ABC Shops importing and selling low grade Surgical face masks

Wear 2 also no protection

But PAP don't care

not like other developed countries

Not necessarily poor quality. These are parallel imports from our neighbouring countries. The big brands such as p&g and Unilever mark up the official prices for sg market for the same product, so fairprice must also sell more expensive.

Not low grade, it's just that they may be closer to expiry date.

Cheap is more expensive
It is a good alternative to do some household savings buying at such thrift stores. Do not be surprise that our neighbourhood shops do get their supplies from the same wholesalers that supply to such thrift stores. It is happening.
