What does he mean by higher than expected? It can be 10% or 50% without setting a clear line. Can our new PM stop taking us for a ride going nowhere and patronising us this way?

raise gst by 2%

a poor family of 5 get only $100 cdc voucher whereas the millionaire with 5 also get same amt.!!

Govt already said increase GST is to help the poor, how can you go against their narrative?
Start working harder by collecting and re-distributing.
To tame inflation, gst has to jump to 15% to lower demand so that prices will start to adjust downwards. If it doesn't, then gst has to get to 30%.

Take a look at petroleum taxes on how it balance out and drivers do their part in going green. The same goes for gst, the higher gst will ensure that people only consume necessary and purchase needs instead of chasing for wants.
