Supply and demand.

Some airlines have already retired some aeroplanes during a pandemic to cut cost.    It will take time for them to ramp up their services.  Those Airlines that can see things brighten up will reap most of the profits.  Good time to buy good airline stocks during this market downfall.

Not many destinations are opened yet

Popular destinations such as Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, HK, TW are not opened yet. And popular destinations such as Seoul, Jeju, Christchurch, Ho Chi Min are opened but still have the hassle of PCR tests.

Also, travellers are avoiding transits, fearing uncertainties & inconveniences. 

These factors push travellers towards convenient & shorter destinations. Australia is one beneficiary.
Next time better dont tell us to use taxpayer $$$ to save SIA. After saving them, this is what happened…
