Lazy to use another cloth

Another thing.
I noticed a lot of people like to put their utensil...chopstick, spoons...on the tray while standing in front of the stall waiting for their food.
Do they really think that the plastic tray had been properly washed with soap and is clean?
Or is it only swiped clean with the same cloth that's been used over and over to swipe hundreds of dirty trays before?

the govt thinks with diners returning trays less cleaners are needed
thats why people are always saying they dont read the ground properly
and never really study deeply before implementing something - only mgt by crisis!
who doesnt know?
they took opportunity to implement during covict not reliazing that during covid not many people can sit inside hawker ctrs or coffeeshops so no impact on the clearing systems.
now that many diners start eating and clearing tables, backlog and bottlenecks occur.
they need to build more effective tray return cubicles in older hawker ctrs and DONT EXPECT DINERS TO WALK SO FAR A DISTANCE JUST TO RETURN TRAYS WITH ALL THE DISHES ON TOP!
and btw you think you dont need to employ more people to wash and clear return tray racks plus what about cleaning the tables after diners have returned the trays? expect diners to bring dish washing liquid and cloth along everytime they dine?

On 16 Dec 2020, Hawker Culture in Singapore was successfully inscribed as Singapore's first element on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
With this it is a must to be extra clean

Since when was a single table ever cleaned with "washing liquid and cloth" after a customer(s) had used it, before covid? Name me one such hawker centre...

Just ask customers to clean the table with tissue after eating.
07-06-2022, 11:11 PM
Do you know, the same cloth they use to wipe the table off food remnants, pigeons poo, saliva, and all those stuffs dinners Pui Pui on the table, they use that cloth to wipe the food trays.
But can’t blame them.....The employers of these cleaners always sting on such stuffs.
