PAP has encouraged Job Discrimination for the past 10 years or so

I think it was driven by Mr Suay and continued by Shoot Blank Queen

1. yet they deviate about real Fair Hiring Framework, Tan CJ

2. and not honest that no FTs take away our jobs, Mr Suay

3. then, mislead us that Skills Future Courses can build Skills, Ong YK

4. then BS that that EP is "Unconditional" , Chan CS

PAP lacks the basic common sense

3.5 Million workforce for 24 Sectors of Economy

in maybe 10 job levels ( Assistant to VP)

spread in 3 locations ( E, N, Central)

Only 4,600 eligible applicants for each job advertisement!!

Yet there is additional Age and Budget Constraint

That is why after counting my probability of getting a job

PAP forced me to give- up

and just be jobless till I die.
they are finding excuse to bring in more FTs

for those jobs in construction, nursing
it is ok yo bring in more

but they love the mid to high earners

that's why explosion of demand for hdb
sudden free giving of PRs in 100s of thousands
and thousands of citizenship every hours and months
Like that wrong, Civil servant claim " so call retain talents " go pay rise LOL in the first place is MORE likely civil servants scare to move out from their " comfort zone " .
Job already stolen, still need to ask this kind of stupid question in ST forum. Rotfl

What you want them to do?
Stop the import!

Can't blame the companies. The local syllabus is more theoretical than anything, teaching things like compiler design, data structure etc. Not that these are not important but companies are looking for people with a lot of programming experience. Sinkies graduates are more theoretical than hands-on.

And some of those comp science graduates in govtech whom I deal with, they thought they're very good but really lack a lot of exposure and experience.

How on earth did Tiny Red Dot ever come to this State of No Return?
It is the company's job to train the local talent, but because govt give them the easy route, 10 out of 10 will take the easy route.

If tomorrow govt take a hard stand, all EP has 1 year duration, non renewable, you see companies will employ FT or sinkie..
