The Chinese Defence Minister had told his US counterpart in the face not to become an actor and does contrary to what is preached. This won't work. The next minute China has announced that the Taiwan Straits is not international waters and is within the sovereignty of China. What this means is there will be more exciting times in the Taiwan Straits going forward.

China will be so powerful in another 10 to 15 years time, and if not rushed Taiwan will eventually merge with China economically probably in the next generation as mutual acceptance deepens 

Military China can take Taiwan now, but if time permits there is no need to take Taiwan militarily

US knows it and is trying to exploit the situation now

so the assmarrycunt and niporn have to make a tough decision on whether to strike now or later when china is stronger

Ukraine is connected by land to Europe on one side

Taiwan is an island that will be surrounded by the PLA on all sides

Taiwan cannot be resupplied/defended without an open declaration of war by the West against China

The West is badly beaten in Ukraine even without Russia officially declaring war

Taiwan is a point defence. A point defence is very hard to be defended against a determined enemy with limitless arms. It can only be defended from the outside. Any comparison with Ukraine is out of context

The DPP in Taiwan is living in delusion. What are they trying to prove?
