The things at Big C are very cheap, didn’t check the price of chicken and pork but fruits are only $1-2 per kg, rambutan only costs $1.5 and very sweet.

Tuk Tuk are still around but mainly in tourist attractions. Traffic can be bad during peak hours but MRT does resolve part of the problem, much better than last time, no air pollution anymore.
No jam on water.
Once a river taxi sunk
People like to feed fishes in the water with bread.

Very smooth, fast and safe, no jam no sinks.

I asked a taxi driver how much it cost to go Wat Arun from Iconsiam, he said 200 baht and takes 30 mins due to traffic jam. Then I took river taxi, it only took 15 mins, 5 stops and cost 16 baht only

River taxi is so common and convenient that it becomes part of their everyday life just like buses and MRT trains.

Wah, their river taxi so advance already. I took the river taxi once when my ship visited BKK donkey years ago. That time the taxis are open air small sampans that bounced up and down when the boat sped in the river with occasional splash of river water when another taxi sped passed...... Big Grin

You should revisit Bangkok, you will be surprised how much it has changed, things are still cheap and their shopping malls are better than ours….there are so much to see, to do and to eat, seafood is very cheap even at a decent restaurant inside the mall.
