how dare chiu insult the "experts"!
according to the this so called EV battery chemistry and research "expert", it must be true!
https://blog.evbox.com/ev-battery-longev...%20drivers.
According to current industry expectations, EV batteries are projected to last between 100,000 and 200,000 miles, or about
15 to 20 years.
However, even when EV batteries do age, their large initial capacity combined with minor losses in battery capacity means the aging is nearly imperceptible to drivers. Indeed, EVs are currently estimated to lose an average of 2.3% of their battery capacity per year. To put that into context, if you purchase an EV today with a 240 km (150 miles) range, you’ll have only lost about 27 km (17 miles) of accessible range after five years.

BYD’s strategy is mass production at very low price to capture market shares at the expense of profitability and financial stability. BYD’s gross profit per car is USD 1,250 vs Tesla’s 8,250 per car
https://carnewschina.com/2024/04/09/byd-...0in%202023.
Presently, BYD’s current ratio is around 0.66 which shows its weakness financially.
Tesla has different price strategies as it is competing in the premium class. It’s more stable financially.
This is the ETF price performance for the last 5 years

Tesla has cut its prices again in a number of major markets - including the US, China and Germany - as the electric car giant run by multi-billionaire Elon Musk faces
falling sales.
The move comes after it reported a
sharp fall in its global vehicle deliveries in the first three months of this year.

Burn You, DEAD!
Why you love sour grapes so much?
BYD & other China EVs continue to Burn You, DEAD
China stands out as a particularly successful example of a Third World country which emulated S'pore's development model to rise to where it is today. In 1978, Deng Xiaoping who was then China's paramount leader, visited S'pore and initiated a close relationship. Since then, we have become China's largest foreign investor and thousands of Chinese officials have been trained in our public policy institutions. China's success in adopting our model may be attributed to its deep-rooted familiarity with the ancient Chinese meritocratic system. This system selects the best minds to govern based on merit rather than political affiliation. It aligns closely with S'pore's approach. China's political stability has provided a conducive environment for long-term development. Even a huge country like China can adopt a model proven to be successful by a far smaller nation.

The fact that it is de facto the second biggest economy after the USA Today, and yet still classified as developing economy and eligible for several subsidies in other words free money, is unfair and smacks of FRAUD
