The number on the card represent the market after each card is revealed you can choose to bet if next card is higher...like you wait for stock market to go low then invest but watch what happens.
What kills a player is when he bets too big on a single outcome when he thinks the market is already very low then it goes lower.
Seasoned investors more or less know not to overpay. But often when they think something is cheap they go all kn and get killed.
