A lot of firms shun mature / midcareer applicants esp above 50 even though these applicants ask for entry level pay

And then they blame us for being choosy, unqualified, over qualified, bla bla bla

Are they thinking that by holding out, they can pressure the Gov to re-open the gates wider for cheaper & younger (foreign) workers?

Aiyoh since when PAP close the gate. Just look at the pop explosion and rental demand. Never ever believe what PAP say lah.

It has been at at least a decade but this problem still exists? PM Lee should look at his own team with disdain.
