Unfortunately , there is no technical path for Talented Sinkie in Spore.. Should move to the west where Engineer is valued.

he must be sgbuffet's brother

I do not have a brother. There people doing all sorts of things and building systems at be at home be AI or trading systems or starting new businesses etc. Not everyone is sitting around watching Netflix.
I think he has secured a place in uni....all the best to him

If you are an engineer or software whiz you want to work for the next Google or Tesla.
In Singapore less chance....

Actually you can also steer the bicycle by balancing your body on the bicycle, no need AI or PCB. If you want to to go left, just move your body to the left and the handle with rotate to the left and when you want to go right, move your body to the right. No need to use hands on the handlebar. Simple and easy.

That's not the point.

so clever
should go over america and threathen elong musk
AND MAKE HIM PAY U US$1MILLION
becos elong is very scared of AI...LOL

Anyway, this story is some inaccuracies. He couldn't be designing a chip, cos he'll not be able to make it. At most we can say he's writing AI code that runs on a chip.

Actually cannot. I've seen people doing this bicycle balancing thingy tech before, so he's not the first one.

I can't even cycle without holding the handlebars...

It's not the technology itself... its promoting to b a food delivery profession

Yes, that is not the point, it is the technology he invented to steer the bicycle with AI chip..

The video clearly shows him committing an offence by riding through the void deck and covered footpaths! Self discriminating!

there are many simpler way to program a single board computer to balance bicycle.
Don't need AI. No sure whether he is really using AI. Normally AI needs powerful CPU and also consume lots of power.
But mention AI, he can elevate himself higher.

Wonder where you guys see there is a motor or pulley system controlled by the AI to steer left right?
if you know how to cycle without holding the bar, u can already steer left right without the bar using body balancing.
Nevertheless, good luck hor those think that pcb do wonders.

We've to take this kind of stories with a pinch of salt. It could be that the projects are done together with his engineer brother or father, with the bulk of effort coming from them. I mean, I could let my daughter in primary school tell the world she can do high tech stuff too and everyone will think she's a child prodigy.
There's a saying among the engineers - anything less than 5 years of experience you're considered a novice, or entry level engineer.
Having say that, if he did spend some amount of effort on these projects it's still applaudable. But don't make it sound like he's a genius. Even genius needs to put in tremendous amount of time to put together something, and this guy is only 22?

There a full set of Arduino code published by a duo, and just look at the amount of research that went into it. Do you seriously think that this 22-yr-old singlehandedly do this?

why reinvent the wheel when one can buy many such wonderful ml development boards with kendryte soc neural chip on it for only $50+? only thing to do is write the code to do machine vision learning.
maybe that's what he did and the writer misunderstood and thought he developed the chip instead
but if he really developed the chip at that age he is a genius

He will be suitable to work for a ceca master in future

I don't think he created an AI chip reported by the misleading news headlines. He programmed some.control algorithm onto a processor board. Why do you even need AI for this type of control algorithm? Even if you use AI you don't need an AI chip or GPU except on the most demanding problems.
Still it is an interesting project and guy deserve credit for making it work but newspaper did not report accurately.

Yup, not like cars, bicycle change direction based on body leaning, not the handle bar.
