Before reno they are less poorÂ
After reno more poor
Reno is " overrated "
how much time you spend at home enjoy so call " cosy new reno " ?
WFH now aday? Unless you are " own boss " end of the day you still need to go office meet clients, boss , CEO meetings etc
sometimes Not every work can so call " WFH " settle must face to face settle in physical meeting room.
Side note also due to " RETI " SG another big revenue come from these office rentals etc.
But I have to respect this couple interesting how they settle themselves since current flat under renovation
- stay at relative place first?
- stay in motel? or hotel ?
how their existing things go ? rent a storage room put?
or majority of the existing stuffs threw away?

I will NOT waste time doing this aka reno.
I rather spend time doing other things.
next now a days Reno works is " subjective " also the materials now a days
Not lasting compare to last time. EPIC Is I noticed people do Reno , just after few months or year some parts tear off etc
again you have to move your stuffs, waste time doing these.
Nowadays people like to knock down all the walls. Looks nice but difficult to cool with aircon. Electric bill through the roof.

Hacking is a killer in renov will cost alot
The cement flooring looks very well done!

heard HDB going to look into let home owners got more freedom to design their home.
Should be partly they see people always hack down the wall if can.
LOL I think in future HDB new BTO flat just throw u a ONE Empty room
without any walls divide into like 2 or 3 rooms.

It is like buying this stock and that with admin charges gone. For those who spend big money on reno when they keep shifting, that $100k a few times is much more than Admin fees.
if due to unforseen circumstances hv to return to hdb, need to restore back reno like hacked walls?
At least this house is better than Garang guni's house
