SINGAPORE, July 5 — The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is mulling legal amendments to make it easier to establish that renovation fraud has occurred, after the authorities investigated 100 such cases between 2019 and 2021, Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam said yesterday (July 4).

Renovation cost already increase , I think last month or so on TV news.
they interview one renovation company, that person claim due to man power shortage and materials , supply a bit hard to get even got is cost price expensive SO have No choice pass the cost to consumer.
The material prices increase every few days.

IF price increase material still maintain its good quality even better than last time I shall say is Fair and Square come price increase
BUT is isn't so, In fact now building materials is " low quality " than last time. YET they mark up high than tell you oh because cost price to produce increase so I have to sell high no choice as Supply.

Now they don't bother to use water spray off the old paint. JUST use new paint , paint over the old paint.
