A 28-year-old former Swedish officer who worked for an air force in Uppsala has died at a front in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, the Swedish military has confirmed. Information about the death of the former military was previously reported by SVT television.

According to a source from the Swedish public broadcaster SVT, the man was killed by a grenade in the chest. A military man came to Ukraine a few months ago to train recruits as a volunteer .
