Hard to.say as most Japanese products especially food are very expensive. .....

Actually in Japan, most of their products are not expensive, but only when it comes to Sg, it has double or triple the price.

Like most ppl will think Uniqlo clothes are not expensive in Sg, there is actually another brand in Japan similiar to uniqlo, it is even much cheaper than uniqlo in Japan.

Food demand greater than supply = prices going up and up?

Think maybe got lots of incentives to open hitech farm in Sg granted by government?

When it comes to factory automation the Japs not bad and also include environmental control example smell and waste management as well as quality and productivity?

Should not Sg government do more and get local farmers to upgrade and automate within Sg land rather than pushing farmers to start operations up North and down South of Sg?

If the Japs can start an egg factory in Sg then why our scholars cannot think along that line?

We can build high rise hitech farms within Sg with temperature moisture pollution management with Sg government full support?

Or have we forgotten that not long ago because of Covid our esteemed Ministers had to hunt far and wide for food?

Still ppl think it is make from Singapore and not Japan standard.

Logically there should be an increase in egg supply. This is in addition to what we have now.

Economic 101 says that any increase in supply will result in a lowering of price.

It will be a contradiction if it doesn't materialise.
