is it purely a psychological / mental illness?  Abuse as a child or problems in family? ie philandering , fighting parents, divorces. I heard some pedos are a result of such environment?

last time when ah wu went overseas his parents told him to look for Singapore gals if he wanted to settle down. after 1 yr couldn't find so parents changed to Malaysian or china gals aso can, and later to asian gal. after some yrs changed to any gal, and finally they gave up and told him just married any human being and they'd be thrilled.
