Singapore never learnt her lesson. This was an essay about how we wrongly hired a fake talent, Jackson Tai as DBS's CEO.

You may even be able to get the occasional renegade from this elite American culture who wants to prove himself or herself in an alternative island in the sun. Some who join investment banks and consulting firms are parachuted into Asia. Alas, I believe that Jackson Tai is fron Princeton himself, but one would argue that in his case, the government was not bringing in foreign talent as much as providing a promising foreigner with the opportunity to upgrade his skills from a CFO into a CEO, and then leave.

Actually, the main reason is Sg is too small already.
Real talent will not come to Sg. US or China is a better place for them to excel their talent.
We only can attract “CECA talents” and later take Sg as a stepping board to US.
This team shd have learned the mistake they made early.
