In USA, the govt and companies will spend $millions to train local workforce to take up new and future jobs.
They do not import foreign talents like Singapore govt.

If Intel was to set up chip making plant in Singapore, PAP govt will allow Intel to import majority of the workforce from countries like India and China instead of training local workforce.

This explains why Singapore will always have local talents vs foreign talent issue because local talents need to compete with experienced foreign talents for jobs.

Yes, can use SkillsFuture Credits to attend training courses, e.g. social media marketing, Google digital marketing.

Not sure whether there's any chip manufacturing related courses.

1) They train their own workforce
so no need to import FTs

2) PAP train our workforce
but the good jobs are still given to FTs & PRs
