I've no problem with Singapore hosting it, but I'm just amused at the govt's hypocrisy in wanting to go green, yet hosting an event that has so much wastage.

I for one am totally against it
I am appalled with such biased news from the Singapore Tourism Board. Hefty cost to host F1 but I am sure it can reap billions of profits for that few months and free publicity.

Is due to F1 , partly all along Rolex, etc Luxury brands pay them to ad , sponsor than come Beers companies etc.
Last time Cigarettes company also tie with F1 but no more. Ferrari F1 car always will have Marbloro this brand printed on it car.
next those F1 fans , some are rich folks , some see F1 for fun but also due to business.
Not to forget now tie with Concerts, famous Djs, singers will be perform.
So summary lots of money involve in F1.
